2011 Mini Paceman Concept

MINI Paceman Concept has been designed to allow the deployment of the most powerful engine currently available in the MINI palette. The MINI John Cooper Works 1.6-litre twin-scroll turbocharged engine gives the MINI Paceman Concept the capacity to deliver the outstanding performance its appearance promises. This 16 valve, four cylinder unit develops 211 hp and generates maximum torque of 260 Nm (192 lb-ft), the latter value having the capacity to reach 280 Nm (207 lb-ft) in brief bursts thanks to the Overboost function.

Its MINI Countryman roots give this new MINI concept study an ideal platform for the MINI ALL4 permanent all-wheel-drive system. ALL4 features an electromagnetic centre differential positioned directly on the final drive which varies the distribution of power seamlessly between the front and rear axles. In normal driving conditions up to 50 per cent of the drive is sent to the rear wheels, but in extreme situations as much as 100 per cent can be directed to the rear.

The MINI Paceman Concept is, of course, also available in two wheel drive form but harnessing the power of the punchy four-cylinder engine in all-wheel-drive form offers an extra dose of driving fun through a traction-led, sporting expression of the agile handling for which MINI is famed.

2011 Schmidt Revolution MINI Clubman StreetWorker

With black xenon lamps including daytime running lights and after a performance increase to 200 hp and torque of 250 Nm – these two parameters allow the Clubman to reach a maximum speed of 220 km/h – the car is ready for city travel, at least for trips around the church tower.

The colors still harbored some problems in it, should the Mini yet actually be equipped with chrome foil. Rethinking was not easy for the men from A4M in Wuppertal; the BMW sprout has a matt blue car wrap, and then they returned back to immaculacy.

Streetworkers usually go a lot, so the Cirrus wheels were decorated with colored multiplex material, so this fun car is never left unattended in city traffic. The 8Jx18H2 Cirrus rims have any of 3D-shaped multiplex patterns in matte blue; any tint of body color, from bright red to carbon black is possible at any style.

Recapped with 215/35R18 Conti tires, the tire problem was solved. To allow for changing “obstacles” while impressive driving in city traffic, the concept car has a Streetec air suspension with press buttons which enables to adjust the height and make it 60 mm lower or 40 mm higher than the serial cars.

2011 MINI Clubman Hampton

The MINI Clubman Hampton is painted in the Reef Blue metallic shade developed specially for this model. The roof and surrounds for the special edition’s rear doors are silver, as are the wheels and Colour Line. The exterior colours Pepper White, Midnight Black and Eclipse Grey can be specified as an option, while Black and Reef Blue are available as contrast colours for the roof and C-pillars. The light-alloy wheels in Twin Blade Spoke design can be ordered in silver or black with a dark red trim ring. The headlights come with black reflectors if the optional xenon units are specified. A logo on the B-pillar and “Hampton” lettering on the side indicator surrounds and radiator grille provide subtle references to the car’s exclusive status. The “MINI 50 Hampton” lettering on the door entry strips recalls the introduction five decades ago of an additional bodywork version of the classic MINI, which today ranks as the historic predecessor of the MINI Clubman.

The interior of the MINI Clubman Hampton also boasts a very distinctive style. An “H” on the seat tags, red edging and orange contrast stitching are the identifying features of the black Lounge Leather seats. The anthracite-coloured roof liner, the likewise anthracite dials of the rev counter and the speedometer on the Centre Speedo also contribute to the model’s special ambience. The Centre Speedo is bordered by a trim ring in matt dark red, like that on the wheels. The Chilli Pack is also included in the MINI Clubman Hampton, adding items such as a sports leather steering wheel, foglamps, automatic climate control, an on-board computer, a light package, a storage package and special velour floor mats in the style of the special-edition model.

2011 Vilner Mini Cooper Italian Job

Vilner has to prove that the Mini’s plastic crate may turn into a really luxurious salon. In order to design luxury in the interior, Vilner chose brown Nappa leather, the same used in Bentley’s factory in the English county of Cheshire. Yes, this car’s interior smells like the same expensive leather used for upholstering the salons of the modern Bentleys. This leather and the skills of Vilner’s craftsmen give this Mini’s interior color and texture. They are achieved with an attractive combination between the brown Nappa leather and two colors of high-tech Alcantara.

Vilner Mini Cooper Italian Job attracts attention like every movie star with fine prospects. The effect is achieved with a combination of grey polish, covered with matting foil with pearl effect and black mat. This play with the covers and colors is supplemented with a couple of racing lines, crossing through the middle of the coupe. All elements shining in chromium in the standard Mini (the tank cap, rings around the headlights and stop lamps, door handles, 18-inch wheel-rims) are matted in black to underline the hooligan appearance of this puppy.

2012 Mini Cooper Coupe

The exterior dimensions of the MINI Coupe give it very sporty proportions and a low, forward-thrusting profile. The two-seater measures 146.8 inches in length (MINI Cooper S Coupe, MINI John Cooper Works Coupe: 147 inches), 66.3 inches in width and 54.6 inches in height (MINI Cooper S Coupe, MINI John Cooper Works Coupe: 54.5 inches). In other words, while the overall length, width and wheelbase (97.1 inches) are almost identical to the measurements of the MINI, the car’s overall height sits a full inch lower than MINI Hardtop.

To improve airflow at higher speeds, the MINI Coupe is the first ever MINI to feature an active rear spoiler, and it is the first in the BMW Group family to incorporate this technology. Integrated in the boot lid, the spoiler pops up automatically when the MINI Coupe reaches a speed of 80 km/h (50 mph). When the speed drops below 60 km/h (37 mph) again, a four-part control mechanism returns the spoiler to its rest position. It is also possible to operate the active rear spoiler manually, for example for cleaning purposes, using a button in the overhead control panel.

The MINI Coupe is kitted out as standard with 15-inch, 16-inch or 17-inch light-alloy wheels, depending on the variant. Further light-alloy wheel designs in these formats can be ordered as an option.

2012 MINI Soho Special Edition

MINI Hatches and MINI Convertibles as both Cooper and Cooper D will be available with the Soho cosmetic treatment, which includes White Silver paintwork, 17-inch Black Star Bullet wheels, Bi-Xenon headlights with black reflectors on the outside and piano black finishing inside, as well as anthracite headlining and a three-spoke steering wheel.

Prices start at £16,765 for the MINI Cooper Soho Hatch, rising to £18,045 for the MINI Cooper D Soho Hatch. The MINI Cooper Soho Convertible costs £19,060 while the MINI Cooper D Soho Convertible will set you back £20,135.

2012 MINI Inspired By Goodwood

The MINI INSPIRED BY GOODWOOD is an exclusive special edition of the MINI Hardtop which has been produced in close collaboration with the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars design team, and it will be displayed alongside the new two-seater MINI Coupe which will also be shown publicly in the USA for the first time.

Working with the development center of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, England, MINI has produced a limited-run special edition MINI, whose exterior and interior design is complemented by fine materials and the British luxury car marque’s commitment to flawless workmanship.

Two of the most striking features of the exterior design are the body finish in the exclusive Rolls-Royce color of Diamond Black metallic and 17-inch light alloy wheels sporting a multi-spoke design. Alternatively, the MINI color Reef Blue metallic can be specified.

Inside, the dashboard (including the surrounds of the central instrument and the air vents), the center console, carpet surfaces, the Lounge leather seats, the roof lining as well as the door, side and body pillar cladding boast the exclusive Rolls-Royce color Cornsilk, a warm and natural shade of beige. Only the upper section of the instrument panel is in black.

In terms of Rolls-Royce materials, the MINI INSPIRED BY GOODWOOD includes Lambswool floor mats, a cashmere headliner, fascia and front door grab handles in burr walnut veneer and a sports steering wheel with Walknappa leather and Piano Black controls.

Each MINI Inspired by Goodwood is powered by the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that was featured for the first time in the 2011 MINI Cooper S. This engine includes a Twin Scroll turbocharger, direct injection and variable valve control and generates 181 hp, so the sprint from 0 to 60 mph is completed in 6.6 seconds. A choice of either six-speed manual and automatic transmissions will be offered.
