2012 BMW CLR 600 GT Lumma Design

The LUMMA CLR 600 GT, revealed for the first time at the 82nd Auto Salon exhibition in Geneva. With its perfectly formed aerodynamic package, together with an increase in power to 490 BHP (360 kW) and GTB-Monoblock 20” wheels this, the sixth Cabriolet from LUMMA Design, is utterly seductive.

In place of the 408 BHP (300 kW) found in the series models, the eight-cylinder engine now produces 490 BHP (360 kW). In comparison to the series model (600 Nm), the maximum torque now lies at a powerful 720 Newtonmeters. The top speed has been increased to 160 mph. A flow-optimized muffler with four stainless steel tail pipes, each 90 millimeters in diameter, adds to the sound of the performance-enhanced eight-cylinder, providing a robust “sports sound.” The wheel housings are embellished with LUMMA GTB Monoblock alloy rims with Vredestein Ultra-High-Performance 255/35-20 tires on the front and 285/30-20 at the drive shaft. Lowered by 20 millimeters, the 9 and 10.5 x 20 inch wheels in a racing spokes design, with their black surface finish, look even more sporty underneath the mudguardsfenders.
